Jam & Open Mic Night (Musicians come & join in – ALL genres welcome – backline provided which includes 1 x Drum kit, 1 x bass amp plus 1 x guitar amp), please bring own instruments. 8.30pm start.

Acoustic Night The second of our monthly session featuring the another very talented local trio, Ruth Bell and Company who describe themselves as playing acoustic covers from reggae to rock/pop, from jazz/swing to easy listening and everything in between starting at 10pm.  We would also like to invite those who like to have a play and join in or, if they wish, play a few songs solo before our featured guests start (please bring your own instruments). The idea is to enjoy a nice sedate evening soaking up the easy listening music that acoustic instruments offer.  (No Electric). 8pm start

Shiny Happy People (A Tribute to R.E.M.) Shiny Happy People are a UK based R.E.M. tribute band who, like the original band from Athens GA, are a four piece outfit faithfully recreating the songs of Berry, Buck, Mills and Stipe.  This band has a wealth of professional music experience including hundreds of live shows and are without doubt the most authentic sounding R.E.M. tribute band around.  9pm start
Sat 9th 
The Mick Rutherford Band (Blues/Progressive/Classic Rock) Old Nicks welcome back this very experienced and accomplished band play, as described, heavy blues/rock and in live performances take no prisoners. They are proud to be the first of the Blues Matters family to have a top twenty hit (number 4) in the USA I-Tunes Blues Singles download chart. Not to be missed!! 9pm start
Sat 16th   
The Detuners (Punk/New World) This 4 piece Lincolnshire band focus on late 70's punk rock playing tracks by the likes of Generation X, The Damned, The Vibrators, Buzzcocks, Ramones, The Jam, Cock Sparrer, Ruts, 999 etc... and on occasions venture onto the New Wave side of the fence too.  Well worth coming down for as they always give a brilliant performance. 9pm start
Sat 23rd
Verbal Warning (Old Skool Punk Rock) The Spirit of 1977, this Nottingham band has entertained Old Nicks’ audiences on several occasions much to the appreciation of all. 9pm start.
Sat 30th
The Sidevalves (High Octane Rock’n’Blues) This accomplished Lincolnshire based outfit are extremely pleased to return to the venue that they consider to be their spiritual home; Old Nicks Tavern. Female fronted this Drums, Guitar and Bass outfit play late 60s and early 70s classic rock covers with some surprise songs thrown in. Guaranteed to provide an entertaining evening. 9pm start
