Pre-order here Coming soon Rachael McShane & The Cartographers When All Is Still Out 10th August Topic Records is delighted to announce the signing of Rachael McShane & The Cartographers.  Rachael is probably best known as not only a string player/singer for the mighty Bellowhead but also a leading voice in The Transports (alongside The Young'uns, Faustus, Nancy Kerr, Greg Russell and Matthew Crampton).  Her brand new album (her first since 2009’s ‘No Man’s Fool’) sees her reworking traditional songs with a new band, The Cartographers, featuring guitarist Matthew Ord (Assembly Lane) and melodeon player Julian Sutton (Kathryn Tickell, Sting). Martin Simpson is one of the headline acts on the bill of  a concert taking place on 2 nights in tribute to Bert Jansch. Entitled ‘Bert Inspired: A Concert for Bert Jansch’, these take place on Sunday 31st January and Monday 1st February. Anne will talk about life in the Scottish and London folk scenes with Bert Jansch in the 1960s.
