Topic Records is delighted to announce the signing of Rachael McShane & The Cartographers.  Rachael is probably best known as not only a string player/singer for the mighty Bellowhead but also a leading voice in The Transports (alongside The Young'uns, Faustus, Nancy Kerr, Greg Russell and Matthew Crampton).  Her brand new album (her first since 2009’s ‘No Man’s Fool’) sees her reworking traditional songs with a new band, The Cartographers, featuring guitarist Matthew Ord (Assembly Lane) and melodeon player Julian Sutton (Kathryn Tickell, Sting).

38 years ago on 1st June 1980 the classic Nic Jones album Penguin Eggs was released. Still regarded as one of the greatest folk albums of all time. Topic is planning to release a special edition of this classic album in 2019.

This stunning show perfectly recreates the energy and atmosphere of an evening in a buzzing Honky Tonk in downtown Nashville. Prepare to be transported on a musical journey through the decades; from Johnny Cash to Alan Jackson, Dolly to the Dixie Chicks, Willie Nelson to Little Big Town!

And pre-show music in the Bar as Keith Luckey plays a 25 minute  acoustic set of country music classics starting at 6.50 pm.
