Monthly rhythm and blues open mic event, held on the first Wednesday of each month at The Victoria Bikers Pub, Coalville. Everybody is welcome to attend to either watch or play. Backline provided plus quality drum kit. Hosted by the friendly, inclusive host band: Gear Jammer Blues Band, consisting of drums, bass, guitar, vocals, keyboard and brass. The Blues Club open mic nights will feature guest artists from time to time and we are keen to see both local talent and National well-known artists from the RnB and Blues Rock genres. Feel free to apply for a spotlight slot or suggestions for future artists.

This is the rescheduled date, originally April 2020, but well worth the wait for such a legendary band!

Supporting wil be Punk Ska band The Suburban Toys, fresh from their surprise appearance at the recent Great British Alternative Festival.

JUDAS PRIEST Shares New Trailer For '50 Heavy Metal Years' Book

JUDAS PRIEST and Rufus Publications have published the first-ever official book documenting the
band's extensive history over the last 50 years. Titled "Judas Priest - 50 Heavy Metal Years", the book has been put together by David Silver, Ross Halfin and Jayne Andrews.

This huge, 648-page coffee table book chronicles the history of the world’s foremost heavy metal band using hundreds of previously unseen, unpublished photographs from rock's greatest photographers including Halfin, Neil Zlozower, Mark Weiss, Fin Costello, Oliver Halfin and many more. With a linking text by renowned journalist Mark Blake, the book explores the bands exciting history on stage and off in a unique photo documentary designed to excite fans and devotees of true heavy metal the world over. Current bandmembers have all contributed to the book, with written pieces detailing their love and passion for the band, making this an extraordinary artefact for their legions of followers. The book features an exclusive cover by Mark Wilkinson, who has worked with the band for many years now.

Bryan Adams Announces New Album and UK Tour

Bryan Adams has a new album on the way, and he's released the first song from it.

Set for arrival on March 11, So Happy It Hurts serves as the Canadian singer-songwriter's 15th album and will be available in CD, vinyl and digital formats, along with a deluxe CD and hardbound book. A limited-edition box set featuring exclusive colour vinyl and a signed photo can be preordered now.


Next year, the 'Heaven' hitmaker will embark on the 12-date 'So Happy It Hurts' UK headline tour, which kicks off on May 13 at the Brighton Centre, and includes a stop at London's The O2 arena on May 26.

The run is set to wrap at the picturesque Blickling Estate in Norfolk.

The Pre-sale starts at 9am on October 13, and general sale tickets will be available from 9am on Friday (15.10.21).
