Two Great Gigs This Weekend

There are two great gigs at Lincoln Drill Hall this weekend.

Friday 22 July 8pm

New Jazz 5 present Joe Stilgoe
This is an opportunity to see and hear a young and incredibly talented British jazz vocalist, who also plays a mean piano. Joe’s singing, his formidable piano technique (which jazz singer Ian Shaw has described as a cross between Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans and Les Dawson) and his sense of humour have made this young man a favourite with audiences everywhere.
Joe’s playing is so fluent it borders on virtuosity, I am completely knocked out by him in every way’ Steve Ross
Tickets: £14 (£12 concessions / £7 students)

Saturday 23 July 8 pm
Summer Party Night with the Blues Brothers Banned
After last year’s sell out show, high energy ten piece band Blues Brothers Banned are back with another jam-packed night of music and mayhem. Hits from the cult Blues Brothers and Commitments films feature throughout their performance, punctuated with R&B, soul, swing and ska in a quirky mix of classics and contemporary tuneage. The
Blues Brothers Banned regularly play venues and outdoor events all over the UK and have packed out London’s legendary Hard Rock CafĂ© and The 100 Club.
Tickets: £12 (£10 concessions)
