With a musical career that including a founding membership in one of the ’70s premier rock bands The Allman Brothers Band, countless accolades including a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and a rocky road of personal problems and health issues, Gregg Allman is back with a new album, Low Country Blues. Wailing out a series of blues numbers like “Little By Little” and “Devil Got My Woman,” with Low Country Blues he pulls out all the stops.
Battling Hepatitis C and waiting for a liver transplant during the recording, Low Country Blues isn’t the music of a man looking into the abyss.
Low Country Blues was produced by T. Bone Burnett who has Produced stunning recordings like Alison Krauss and Robert Plant’s Raising Sand and Willie Nelson’s Country Music.
