 Houston rapper Big Pokey dies after collapsing during performance

The BBC have reported that Houston Rapper Big Pokey has died after collapsing during a performance in Texas.

The artist, whose real name was Milton Powell, was performing at a Juneteenth-themed event at a bar on Saturday 17 June 2023 when he fell backwards on stage.

Witnesses rushed to help the 45-year-old before he was taken to a nearby hospital. He died on Sunday.
