WAYout ARTS
Our friends over in Freetown are in pretty dire need of some new equipment for the studios.
If you have anything that may be of use, please
contact Hazel on hazel@wayoutarts.org - a long list of kit
is below, even if it’s not in great condition, we can find a use for it!
Laptops - any kind, PC or Mac. Mac
for music and video editing, PC for writing and internet research. For music
production MacBooks 2015 and later, for all other uses, any age will work.
iMacs for video editing and music production.
Instruments - guitars, especially bass guitars, keyboards,
saxophone and other brass instruments.
Sound cards, microphones, speakers and headphones for the music
studio and mobile studio…
Cameras for video shoots. DSLRs or
more professional cameras are welcome. Their trained filmmakers need to work on
more professional kit than they have. Beginners can use DSLR or handycams.
Tripods, drives, lights.
They are also always in need of memory sticks,
old, unlocked phones - they do not need to be smartphones. Many of
their members have no phone at all so the old push-button Nokias are just as
welcome.
You can also donate to save WAYout Arts via JustGiving: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/savewayout

This
prompted us to set up JSF Runners.
An
inclusive running community to chat about health, encouragement, fitness,
wellbeing, nutrition, Joe, and of course, music.
We
are aware that running is not for everybody and we want to make sure we
only email you about the things you care about.
So
unless you sign up via the JSF Runners - Are You In? blog
post on our website, this will be the last email we'll send to you about it.
We
respect your time and value your support.
From all of us,
The Joe Strummer Foundation
