The Museum of Making Music's "MoMM@Home series features a close up and personal conversation with Albert Lee! Enjoy some real Rock 'n' Roll history from the man who has helped make so much of it from the Crickets to the Everly Brothers to Emmylou and Eric Clapton and countless others in between and of course, Albert's own successful solo career. Maybe a little playing on the guitar and piano too!
It's at a great time of day between
LA and those of you across the Atlantic.
11a, Friday, January 22 Los Angeles /
2p - New York / 7p - London / 8p - Berlin
HOW TO WATCH: Tune in to this page…
MoMM@Home: Albert Lee - Rockin' the Electric Guitar on
(museumofmakingmusic.org) at the start time of the event. The episode will be shown
here and on the Museum's YouTube and Facebook pages.
Based
in Los Angeles, the Flint native will report to both Eliah
Seton, president of independent music & creator services,
WMG and Craig
Kallman, chairman & CEO, Atlantic Records.
Commenting on the appointment, Seton praised Martin’s "unflinching commitment" to his artists and described him as the "consummate A&R" who is "not only able to spot great talent but nurture that talent by spending endless hours in the studio crafting hit records. That’s exactly the sort of artist-first philosophy that we’re cultivating at the new Asylum."
The new single is again produced by Paul Laine (The
Defiants) and mastered by Bruno Ravel (The Defiants/Danger Danger).
Guitarist Stevie Janevski goes on to say, “last
year was all about giving the world a ‘taste’ of what we’re about. We’re a five-piece
kick ass heavy rock band and I think we made our presence known with the
release of our Delirium ep”.
The new single ‘Killer At Large’ will no doubt be
another talking point with its bombastic wall of sound. Vocalist Danny states,
“this is my favourite song so far. It’s heavy, yet melodic and the song fits in
perfectly with what we’re about. The energy from the entire band is amazing”.

The metal behemoths are back, with new album 'For Those That
Wish To Exist' set to hit home on February 26th.
The ambitious 15 track album ties into our current dystopia,
while also searching for moments of light.
New single 'Dead Butterflies' is part of this dichotomy, and it
comes with a video shot at London's historic Royal Albert Hall.
Filmed during their recent live stream from the venue, it gives
a glimpse of Architects phenomenal live power.
