When it comes to Tim McGraw classics,
you know… before he had the 6% body fat, “Something Like That” might just be at
the top of my list.
Written by Rick Ferrell and Keith Follesé, it was released in
1999 as the second single from McGraw’s A
Place in the Sun album. Topping the country charts, and doing well on
the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, it was the MOST-PLAYED radio song in any genre
from 2000-2009. Pretty damn impressive for a country song, eh?
And now, Tim is breathing new life into the ’90s country
classic, releasing a stripped-down acoustic version of the fan favorite.
