Indie band Local Natives have released a surprise new covers
EP, which sees them tackling songs by Roxy Music, Gerry Rafferty, Michael
McDonald, and 10cc. Music from the Pen Gala 1983 was recorded for The Shrink
Next Door, the Apple TV+ series starring Paul Rudd and Will Ferrell in which
Local Natives make an appearance performing their cover songs at the titular
Pet Gala. Listen to the EP below.
Local Natives released their most recent album, Violet
Street, in 2019. Last year, they collaborated with Sharon Van Etten on the
track ‘Lemon’.
