Local Natives Cover Roxy Music, Michael McDonald, 10cc, and More in New EP

Indie band Local Natives have released a surprise new covers EP, which sees them tackling songs by Roxy Music, Gerry Rafferty, Michael McDonald, and 10cc. Music from the Pen Gala 1983 was recorded for The Shrink Next Door, the Apple TV+ series starring Paul Rudd and Will Ferrell in which Local Natives make an appearance performing their cover songs at the titular Pet Gala. Listen to the EP below.

Local Natives released their most recent album, Violet Street, in 2019. Last year, they collaborated with Sharon Van Etten on the track ‘Lemon’.

.Over the last few months the singles “Silent Alarm” and “Animal” have gone down great with radio stations and the listeners alike being aired on over 700 stations globally.

Now the band are back with their debut EP “Bananas” featuring both Silent Alarm and Animal and new songs “Bananas” and “Off The Beat”.

The EP is scheduled for release on Friday 5th March ‘21.
