It's the first Lincoln Arts MashUp of 2016.
Hosted this time by LPAC as
part of the brilliant NewVolutions free festival of new work which runs from 17
- 23 Jan www.lpac.co.uk, the MashUp will be held in
the Cafe at LPAC on Weds 20th Jan from 5.30pm till around 7pm.
Please come
along - the bar will be open, there will be snacks and there will be plenty of
chat, networking and probably some gossip.
..
And half way through there's a
chance for anyone to take the floor for a couple of minutes to tell us all about
a particular project, to ask for advice, to suggest a collaboration or pretty
much anything else.
Please forward / tweet / facebook and generally spread
the word!
See you there :-)

The Lincoln, UK, MashUp is Back! #lincolnartsmashup
The Lincoln, UK, MashUp
is Back…
The second Lincoln Arts MashUp will take place on Wednesday 2nd December
from 5.30pm once again at the Brewhaus on the corner of Silver St and
Broadgate, in Lincoln, UK.
The first one, back in October, was amazingly well attended by around 30
local creatives and was a surprising success judging by the positive comments
that were flying around, for which many thanks! Not that anything amazing
happened (though the pizzas were pretty amazing) but that was never the idea –
it’s just a very informal social / networky thing open to anyone who works or
is involved in the creative sector in and around Lincoln. A chance to get
together with other creative types and chat/goss/discuss, whatever…
and the more the merrier so please spread the word.
There’s free pizza again
this time (thanks again to Visit Lincoln) and the bar is very much open.
And half way through we offer a slot called the MixTape when anyone can
grab the floor for a couple of minutes to tell us about a project, an idea, an
event or a workshop that ‘s coming up… or put out a call for artists to
collaborate… or ask for some advice… or just have a good old rant (constructive
of course). A number of ideas were discussed and/or emerged last time and
I am looking forward to seeing how some of these might have developed or
changed completely….
