Random Solution (Classic Rock – Old to New) A Lincoln based 5-piece inventive Rock covers band who do an eclectic mix of songs from the timeless classics of Rock and Metal to the best of modern music. 9pm start.
Fri 13th
Acoustic Night.  Our monthly session (second Friday of each month) featuring Itchy Fingers, a four piece acoustic band playing Ragtime, Country Blues and Acoustic Blues from the 1900's thru to the 1940's. The band comprises: Guitar, "National Steel" style bass, washboard and mandolin, starting at 10pm.  We would also like to invite those who like to have a play and join in or, if they wish, play a few songs solo before our featured guest starts (please bring your own instruments). The idea is to enjoy a nice sedate evening soaking up the easy listening music that acoustic instruments offer.  (No Electric). 8pm start

Shiny Happy People (A Tribute to R.E.M.) Shiny Happy People are a UK based R.E.M. tribute band who, like the original band from Athens GA, are a four piece outfit faithfully recreating the songs of Berry, Buck, Mills and Stipe.  This band has a wealth of professional music experience including hundreds of live shows and are without doubt the most authentic sounding R.E.M. tribute band around.  9pm start

The Mick Rutherford Band (Blues/Progressive/Classic Rock) We are honoured to have Mick play this weekend at Old Nicks whilst celebrating 50 years in music, as always this experienced and accomplished band is welcomed back to Old Nicks who play, as described, heavy blues/rock and in live performances take no prisoners. They are proud to be the first of the Blues Matters family to have a top twenty hit (number 4) in the USA I-Tunes Blues Singles download chart. Not to be missed!!  9pm start

The Detuners (Punk Rock Classics) This 4 piece Lincolnshire band play an authentic selection of punk rock classics covering such bands as The Damned, The Jam, The Stooges, The Clash, Sex Pistols, 999, The Stranglers, Ramones, UK Subs, SLF, Dead Kennedys and many more.  Well worth coming down for as they always give a brilliant performance.  9pm start

Merlin’s Keep (Celtic Rock/Folk) Old Nicks welcome back this very talented Grimsby based band. An exuberant mix of original material with three- and four-part harmonies, covers of old favourites, and foot-stomping traditional fiddle tunes. 9pm start
Fri 12th
Acoustic Night.  Our monthly session (second Friday of each month) featuring Richard Silvester a local based talented musician who has featured on BBC Radio Lincs plus had TV appearances. He brings to life a number of instruments such as fiddle, guitar, mandolin, harmonica and bodhran singing favourite Irish, plus other folk songs. Celtic fun for all ages, starting at 10pm.  We would also like to invite those who like to have a play and join in or, if they wish, play a few songs solo before our featured guest starts (please bring your own instruments). The idea is to enjoy a nice sedate evening soaking up the easy listening music that acoustic instruments offer.  (No Electric). 8pm start

Firegarden (Classic Rock/Progressive/Funk) Old Nicks welcome back this band from Sheffield as it is always a pleasure to see these guys perform.  Firegarden are a band that believe in the expression of emotion in it's purest form: live and rocking! With a multitude of influences, from classic '70's rock to absolutely anything that excites your ears. They sound ‘British’, but not slavishly so. 9pm start

The Legendary Night Owls (Chicago Blues) This 5 piece hard driving, ultra tight band from Louth, featuring front man Ken Mayle who gives an outstanding performance  on harmonica and vocals, are truly legendary keeping with the spirit of the blues. Playing songs from artists such as Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf, Jimmy Witherspoon, Otis Rush, John Mayall and many more.  9pm start.
Sat 27th
Still Remains UK (Metal/Rock/Alternative) We look forward to this band’s return to play some of their originals. Their style is very much a cross between the older style metal and newer, fantastic vocals and musicianship.  9pm start

Jumpin Jax & the Barflies (Rock songs played Rockabilly style) This local 5 piece band will be playing a range of covers from such bands as Guns'N'Rosses, Navana, Stevie Wonder, Hank Williams, AC/DC and many more topped by the special sound that a double bass and a fiddle gives.  Well worth the effort. 9pm start

MATINEE PERFORMANCE for ALL Ages celebrating Bank Holiday Sunday with Two-Step, ex Sahara (Indie/Rock) we welcome back this very talented young 5 piece band from Alford playing mainly covers with a few tracks of their own. Acoustic Night.  Our monthly session (second Friday of each month) featuring Dave Simpson (solo (Blues/Rock) this very talented young Louth gentleman with his guitar driven performance will be playing an acoustic version of his band. Influences include the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Rory Gallagher, Thin Lizzy and other classic blues & rock artists, starting at 10pm.  We would also like to invite those who like to have a play and join in or, if they wish, play a few songs solo before our featured guest starts (please bring your own instruments). Steel Threads (Folk/Rock) An English ‘Power-Folk’ band, blending their love of Rock, Folk and Acoustic music.  A three piece with a line up of double bass, acoustic guitar and fiddle. Influenced primarily by bands such as The Waterboys, The Levellers, Led Zeppelin, Neil Young, New Model Army, REM and Crowded House, the band prides themselves on strong songwriting and genuine musicianship. We defy you to keep still whilst this trio play!  9pm start

Unshaven (American Roots Music) One of the hottest bands in the area, this 7 piece band generate energy and excitement everywhere they perform. This dynamic band features everything from fiddle to harmonica with bass and drums in addition to guitars and the unique vocals of John Ingamells. 9pm start

Unfinished Business (Classic Rock/Blues).  This 5 piece with twin guitars and a big sound will be playing tracks that revolve around blues-influenced rock covers by the likes of Cream, Free and Gary Moore, with a few less obvious twists such as Ten Years After and Lenny Kravitz.  True classic rock / blues from the 60s and 70s.  9pm start

De Ja Vu Roadshow combined with our “Count Up” (Mr Creature’s any type of music you wish…all you have to do is ask…..Disco) Celebrating Halloween, fancy dress if desired.  This is being combined with our annual ‘Count Up’ - monies raised over the year for Wish Upon A Star…final total presented on the evening. 8.30pm start

Steve Fulsham (Power Blues/Rock) The Steve Fulsham Band are a slick, high energy Blues Rock Band based in Hull. Over the last seven years, this band has been travelling up and down the country delivering their own brand of Blues Rock, playing with the likes of Walter Trout and Wilko Johnson along the way. Steve is considered to be one of the finest guitarists on the circuit. 9pm start.
Sat 24th
Purple Spiral Project (Progressive/Rock).  Old Nicks welcome back this very talented young 4 piece from Wales and who have proved to show what great performers they are. Playing a mix of originals, influenced from artists such as; Rush, Tool, Pearl Jam, Extreme, Journey, Soundgarden and many others plus covers from bands such as Guns’n’Roses.  9pm start
