For one night only we resurrect our
famous Unplugged night and invite local musicians to come along to perform up
to three songs to an audience of other musicians and music lovers. Unplugged
ran once a month in the café bar for more than 5 years under the watchful eye
of Mr Keith Luckey who once again will be Master of Ceremonies tonight!

This is the novel that shook the ‘American Dream’ and
epitomised the teenage rebellion of the 1950s. It gave voice to what came to be
called the ‘Beat Generation’ of underground America, with its love of rock and
roll, drugs and motor bikes. Come and explore the life of this compulsive
writer who anchored a particular time and place and changed what was

Café Society are a five piece jazz-groove group from London
fronted by the irrepressible Tom Sochas and his unmistakable voice, the
band have been gigging regularly with the current line-up of Sochas on keys,
Chris Waller on guitar, Kenneth Cook taking the bass space, Josh Monro blowing
sax and drums by Adam Williams, with plenty of vocal harmonies. This
is music to make your feet move and your soul sing.
