Buskers Required For Lincoln Christmas Market.

City of Lincoln Council are looking for festive buskers for the 2014 Lincoln Christmas Market which runs from 4^th – 7^th December. They plan to have buskers dotted around the site, probably playing one hour slots during the course of the event which runs from:

Noon-9pm on the Thursday,

10am-9pm on the Friday & Saturday

10am-7pm on the Sunday.

Performances will need to have a “festive feel” in keeping with the theme.

Any Buskers that may be interested in participating at the Christmas Market should email with a brief description of what they do to christmasmarket@lincoln.gov.uk.

Fri 9^th	The Charlie Buck Band (Light Rock/Folk/Indie) This local 4 piece play a mix of originals and covers fronted by a very talented young man. Playing covers from artists such as the Arctic Monkeys, Paolo Nutini, Black Keys, Kings of Leon, Buzzocks and more. 9pm start
Sat 10^th	The Dave Simpson Trio (Blues Rock) Hailing from the Louth area, we look forward to this accomplished local band gracing Old Nicks playing originals with covers to compliment their performance. Sat 31^st	Jackhammer (Classic Rock) Old Nicks welcome back 3 guys from the Scunthorpe area playing music they all love, including original material and Classic Rock covers from AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Cream, Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix, Motorhead, The Who etc. All 3 members of this band are seasoned musicians having played in other bands such as Faded Elbow, Stella, The Misfits and Cobblers Thumb. 9pm start
