Ross Wilson aka Blue Rose Code At Kirton In Lindsey Town Hall Friday 8 October 2021
Not simply music to listen to, but music to engage to with an emotional
transaction that leaves you feeling richer for the experience'.
Blue Rose Code are one of the best live acts around. They regularly play
sold out shows at venues such as The Queens Hall, Edinburgh and Union Chapel,
London. Ross Wilson is the band's creator and songwriter. A solo
performance from Ross brings out the beauty and lyrical content of their songs.
His songs address universal themes of love, loss and home. They are
variously painted in the vibrant colours of folk, American jazz, country, soul
and Celtic traditions. Think of a fusion between Van Morrison, a young
John Martyn and Motown and you will not be far of the mark.
At the start of lockdown the band released their superb live album 'Live
at Celtic Connections' and three months in released their latest studio album
'Healings of the Deepest Kind', which received rave reviews. It is an album
touched with genius and is ravishingly beautiful.
Tickets are priced at £14 and can be purchased from
the Londis store in Kirton, from Brian on 01652 649230 or
brianchudley@btinternet.com or can be purchased on line from www.wegottickets.com
