 Martin Simpson's new album, 'Skydancers' hits number 2 in the Official Folk Albums Chart

Topic Records have announced that ‘Skydancers,’ the new album by 

Martin Simpson reached an all-time high in April’s Official Folk Albums Chart 

at number 2.   His 12th full length solo record for Topic, collects new, 

 Simpson-penned originals alongside 18th century broadside ballads 

and reverent reworkings from the songbooks of, amongst others, Bob Dylan, 

Joni Mitchell, Woody Guthrie, Nancy Kerr, June Tabor and Craig Johnson.

There will be a full line-up of fantastic record dealers convene this coming Saturday, 9th March, in the United Reformed Church Hall on Broad Street for a great day of vinyl, tea, coffee and biscuits!

Pop along to browse through masses of records from 9am to 3pm, and it's FREE ENTRY! While in Stamford, you could also pop in to Ted Carroll 's fabulous Rock On Records UK shop on All Saints Street for more vinyl delights from the hallowed stock of this Ace Records legend!
