TOWN HALL LIVE In September two top class concerts, the first is on Friday 13th September THE JOSH BURNELL BAND with support from CROOKED WEATHER  Josh Burnell got a great reaction when supporting The Once earlier this year.  On that occasion he was accompanied by Frances Sladen on vocals and Holly Brandon on violin.  They were so good that we just had to have them back with their full band.  The other members are Nathan Greaves on guitar, Jack Woods on mandolin and acoustic guitar, Matthew Melford on bass and Ed Simpson on drums. Whilst growing up, Josh was drawn to progressive rock music and more recently began listening to traditional music.  He has blended the two styles to create something quite unique. He created great interest in the folk world and the general music scene in 2018 with his ambitious 'Seasons Project', which saw him release one song a week for a whole year.  Fourteen favourites were chosen for his 'Songs for a Season' album, which got several 5* reviews in the British Music press. Over the past two years they have gone down a storm at many festivals, such as Folk East, Music Port, Beardy Festival, The Great British Folk Festival and Costa Del Folk.  Earlier this year embarked on their first full length UK tour, which culminated in a show at Cecil Sharp House in London.  The band have a great future ahead of them.  We guarantee that you will have not seen their likes before. The monthly sessions have developed into having guest musicians play and now they take the format  out across the country as The Chorlton Country Club Revue.  The shows will feature a host of special guests including Robbie Cavanagh, Demi Marriner and Joe Martin. The seven date tour will celebrate their debut studio album 'Volume 1' released on their own 'Triple C' record label.  The album features some of the greatest American songs of the last fifty years, including Take It To The Limit (Eagles), To Love Somebody (The Bee Gees) and The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down (The Band). This will an evening of top class musicianship, some great songs, including many of Lauren's, great singing from Lauren and Tom. and some great cameos from Robbie, Demi and Joe.  Don't miss it. Callaghan at Kirton in Lindsey Town Hall Saturday 22 June

TOWN HALL LIVE  SATURDAY 22ND JUNE CALLAGHAN 'Callaghan's effortlessly, sweet sounding, lilting, silvery vocals take you to a sun drenched place where worries are a thing of the past'  with support from JOE MARTIN Grantham girl made good, Callaghan is back at Town Hall Live.  She last played in March 2017 and a year later released he latest album 'Callaghan' Her story is well known.  In 2010, whilst living in London she sent a demo tape to Shawn Mullins.  He was impressed and invited Callaghan over to Atlanta and offered to produce her debut album 'Life in Full Colour'.  It was a classic case of taking a risk and throwing your life into upheaval to chase your dreams.  She stayed in Atlanta for three years before moving to Nashville and then LA and has played all across America.  She constantly tours America, playing to packed venues across the country.  Obviously, she has not forgot her home roots and has played UK Tours for the last five years.  This will be the fourth time she has played THL and sold out the previous three. Since 'Life in Full Colour' she has recorded three more albums 'A History of Now', 'Acoustic Coffee House' and 'Callaghan' and is in the process of recording 'Acoustic Coffee House 2' Callaghan is blessed with a beautiful sweet and soothing voice, a strong knack for pretty and harmonic melodies .  She has a warmth and purity of spirit that shines through in her performances.  Her music blurs the edges between adult contemporary, pop and Americana. Lynne Hanson and the Good Intentions Saturday 17th November at Kirton In Lindsey Town Hall

TOWN HALL LIVE   presents LYNNE HANSON & THE GOOD INTENTIONS on  SATURDAY 17TH NOVEMBER  with support from AMY ANDREWS Lynne Hanson started playing guitar as a teenager, eventually working her way to an award winning debut album in 2006.  Tow more albums quickly followed and each garnered critical approval.  Lynne then took time out, before returning in 2014 with the excellent 'River of Sand', which saw her writing mature into a more intuitive and visceral style.  'Uneven Ground' followed in 2017 and explores giving sound advice through song writing and fighting back against the devil within us. At first listen, Lynne Hanson's warm, but gritty music leads you to think of America's South, but Lynne is in fact from Ottawa, Canada. Her sound is born honestly, through a lifetime of experiences and influences expressed through rock, blues and roots music that bleeds from her very being.  Her songs are familiar and comfortable, fearless and strong.  Her bluesy croon is pure and full of passion. At the start of 2018, Lynne teamed up with Lynn Miles to release an album and tour under the name of The LyNNeS.  Both were a great success. Now she is back with her band, The Good Intentions which again features MJ Dandneau on bass, plus new members Kevin Corbett on lead guitar and Cody Iwasiuk on drums. Lynne's previous performances at Town Hall Live have been a joy and we are sure that this concert will be no different. Danni's start continues to rise, with two consecutive Americana Music Association Award nominations for Album of The Year in 2017 and Artist of the Year in 2018.  She also performed at this year's Folk Alliance International in Kansas.  In May this year she embarked on her next musical journey, making a new studio in Nashville with renowned producer Jordan Brooke Hamlin.  It will be released in early 2019. Danni will be accompanied by two members of the Lauren Housley Band, Tom Dibb on lead guitar and Mark Lewis on bass.
