Town Hall Live is back for a one-off outdoor concert, at the home of John & Val Donaghy, 18 East Cross St, DN21 4EA 
It's a chance to enjoy some live music in a socially distanced environment on a lazy Sunday afternoon.  It may be the only chance we get until the end of the year.
Grimsby trio Third & Church will start the afternoon off, with their renditions of American favourites. 
They are followed by the charismatic and entertaining singer songwriter PAUL McCLURE.  'The Rutland Troubadour', as Paul is known, will play a full headlining set featuring songs from his three albums 'Songs for Anyone', 'Smiling from the Floor Up' and last year's 'Market Town', as well as some recently penned songs.  There will be no shortage of between song banter, as usual.  There is no one who can make you smile one minute and bring a tear to your eye the next.
Bring your chairs, bring a picnic and enjoy a wonderful afternoon of live music.

 Note that for this concert to take place, we have to comply with Government Guidance for out-door performances.
The Event will be fully Covid 19 risk assessed. 
It means that tickets can only be purchased on line from www.wegottickets.com.  They are priced at £10.  There will be no tickets 'on the door'
CAPACITY IS STRICTLY LIMITED
Maximum of six people per group from two households.
Social distancing of  two metres to be maintained.
Toilet facilities will be available, but all surfaces must be cleaned after use.
Hand sanitiser and other hygiene measures in place.
No Parking at the House, but spaces will be available at Allen Motors on South Cliff Road and at Kirton Concrete on East Cross Street.
Bring your own chairs, food and drink and take all of your rubbish away with you. 
Doors are at 2 pm.  The music starts at 2.30 pm

Birds of Chicago @ Kirton In Lindsay Town Hall on 1st November 2019

TOWN HALL LIVE FRIDAY 1ST NOVEMBER BIRDS OF CHICAGO with support from DANNY BRADLEY 'Birds of Chicago reassert the simple notion that beautiful word and music can tap a deep vein of emotion.  They seduce you with their joyous, intimate, rousing and hauntingly evocative lyrics.' Birds of Chicago are the collective centred around Jeremy (JT) Lindsay and Allison Russell.  On their current UK Tour they will be joined by ace guitarist Steve Dawson, Prior to 2012 Jeremy and Allison played in different bands, Allison with Po' Girl and Jeremy with JT & The Clouds.  Both played at THL with these bands.  They joined forces in 2013, and Jeremy found himself a transcendental vocal muse in Allison and the band honed it's chops by playing 200 shows a year between 2013 & 2017.  Together, there is a unmistakable chemistry, with Jeremy finding the perfect voice for his rock and roll psalms.  Both sing, Jeremy plays guitar, whilst Allison plays banjo, percussion and out of this world clarinet. Their latest album 'Love in Wartime' contains one memorable song after another, with each tune creating it's own musical suite filled with spiraling melodic beauty.  With 'Love in Wartime' they have created a buzz and have broken through to a much wider audiences throughout America the UK and Europe.  It particularly the cast at Festivals, where over the last two summers they have played Celtic Connections, Cambridge Folk Festival, The Isle of Sky Festival and the Shrewsbury Folk Festival among others. The Mighty Doonans were formed from The Doonan Family Band, that included the then youngsters Mick Doonan, Kevin Doonan, Phil Murray  and Stu Luckley.  On forming The Mighty Doonans the four were joined by Ian 'Walter' Fairburn, along with the 'next generation' family members Frances Doonan, Rosie Doonan, Ben Murray and Jamie Luckley. The band have the ability to blend different genres of music, dance and the occasional joke into their act.  It leads to a thoroughly enjoyable evening that delights every audience they play in front of.  They deliver the traditions and influences with powerhouse arrangements, such as Same Cooke's 'Bring it on Home' and sensitive interpretations of songs like Eddie Pickford's 'Johnny Miner'. Callaghan at Kirton in Lindsey Town Hall Saturday 22 June

TOWN HALL LIVE  SATURDAY 22ND JUNE CALLAGHAN 'Callaghan's effortlessly, sweet sounding, lilting, silvery vocals take you to a sun drenched place where worries are a thing of the past'  with support from JOE MARTIN Grantham girl made good, Callaghan is back at Town Hall Live.  She last played in March 2017 and a year later released he latest album 'Callaghan' Her story is well known.  In 2010, whilst living in London she sent a demo tape to Shawn Mullins.  He was impressed and invited Callaghan over to Atlanta and offered to produce her debut album 'Life in Full Colour'.  It was a classic case of taking a risk and throwing your life into upheaval to chase your dreams.  She stayed in Atlanta for three years before moving to Nashville and then LA and has played all across America.  She constantly tours America, playing to packed venues across the country.  Obviously, she has not forgot her home roots and has played UK Tours for the last five years.  This will be the fourth time she has played THL and sold out the previous three. Since 'Life in Full Colour' she has recorded three more albums 'A History of Now', 'Acoustic Coffee House' and 'Callaghan' and is in the process of recording 'Acoustic Coffee House 2' Callaghan is blessed with a beautiful sweet and soothing voice, a strong knack for pretty and harmonic melodies .  She has a warmth and purity of spirit that shines through in her performances.  Her music blurs the edges between adult contemporary, pop and Americana. Named in the Chicago Tribune's list of '50 Most Significant Songwriters of the last 50 years. Performing solo armed with just his voice, his acoustic guitar and acute commentary, Danny is the authentic troubadour, one man sharing the truth in the form of songs, unadorned and intimate.  The understated effect is powerful.
