Anthony Strong has won plaudits around the world for his high energy, feel-good
shows.
His repertoire is
unashamedly ‘old school’, from jazz standards and classics, through to early
Stevie Wonder and Motown - and tonight he pays tribute, in song, to many of the
iconic male jazz singers.
Anthony is joined
by his five-piece band who have performed with him at jazz festivals and concert
halls on four continents.

impresses every time.
The Railsplitters draw on a wide
range of influences from bluegrass pioneers Bill Monroe and Earl Scruggs to Americana
and modern pop and rock ‘n’ roll. With mandolin, fiddle, banjo, guitar and
upright bass, this acclaimed live band has received rave reviews on both sides
of the Atlantic. They make a much anticipated return to Spalding after their

Three piece touring collaboration for three respected solo songwriters Edwina
Hayes, Kate Bramley and Simon Haworth. Edwina is well known to the Grimsby
audience and Kate & Simon are part of Jez Lowes Bad Pennies. Born out of
a musical interest in both British folk and the transatlantic connections to new
country and Americana, this trio are fast gaining a reputation across the UK
folk scene. Original songs and close harmonies, accompanied by guitars, bass,
cittern, mandola, mandolin and fiddle.
