What's Coming Up at Town Hall Live At Kirton In Lindsay Town Hall TOWN HALL LIVE What a great start to the year it has been so far, with three top class concerts fro Wilson & Wakeman, Amanda Anne Platt & The Honeycutters and Amy Speace.  There is a lot more to come with another three concerts in the space of six weeks.  First up on SATURDAY 7TH MARCH it's THE ROBBIE CAVANAGH BAND with support from DEMI MARRINER   We are delighted that Robbie Cavanaghis bringing his band to Kirton, as part of their first headlining UK Tour.  Robbie has performed twice before at Town Hall Live, in December 217 he supported Danni Nicholls and in September 2019 he was a special guest at Chorlton Country Club's Roadshow Revue. Now his back with his band that comprises of Tom Dibb on lead guitar and backing vocals, Mark Khan on bass and Dan Wiebe on drums. Robbie performs self penned, un-scrubbed tales of heartbreak, love loss and discovery.  When he puts pen to paper he lives by his own words.  He writes with honesty, emotion, and most important instinctively.  He sings with clear, soothing vocals and a gentle manner, stepping on stage with his long hair, Levi's and guitar slung over his shoulder. Over the years he has been championed by BBC Radio 2's Bob Harris, who has invited him to perform at Festival and Showcases across the UK and America.  The band have played numerous festivals over the last couple of years, including Black Deer, Maverick, Cornbury and Wilderness. What a privilege it is to have Jenn Bostic back a Town Hall Live for a third time.  It will be one of only five UK shows on this UK Tour. Jenn grew up in Minnesota but now lives in Nashville and plays big auditoriums back home in the States.  She is a soulful singer songwriter with a hint of blues, soul, country and gospel.  Her emotive song writing and powerful vocals have been touching hearts around the world over the last ten years.  She is best known for her song 'Jealous of the Angels' written for her late father. who died in a car crash when Jenn was just 10 years old. She has performed on BBC Radio 2, BBC Breakfast and Songs of Praise.  In 2017 & 2018 she was named 'International Touring Artist of the Year at the British CMA Awards and co-hosted the Awards Ceremony in 2018.  She has performed sold out tours across America and Europe, playing such venues as The Grand Olde Opry, The Ryman Auditorium, The Lincoln Centre and Bush Hall In London.  She is a big star. She will be accompanied on this tour by a cellist and drummer, whilst Welsh singer LAURA EVANS will play the support slot.  Laura frequently travels to Nashville to write and perform.  She also acts and recently filmed the lead role of a young Tammy Wynette in a biopic about the star's life. The band comprises of Tom Landa on vocals, guitar and jarana (Mexican guitar), Geoffrey Kelly on flute and whistle, Kalissa Landa on violin and vocals, Brad Gillard on bass and banjo and Sam Esecson on drums. TOWN HALL LIVE   OUR NEXT CONCERT IS ON SATURDAY 3RD FEBRUARY, 2018 we present an evening with WILSON & WAKEMAN A guaranteed evening of entertainment from two of the UK's finest musicians - great musicianship, singing, songs and atmosphere, you can't ask for much more.   Featuring DAMIAN WILSON on vocals and acoustic guitar and ADAM WAKEMAN on keyboards, vocals and acoustic guitar.  The duo will be playing songs from their individual back catalogues and from artists they have worked with, along with tracks from their duo album 'Weir Keepers Tales' and Damian's latest solo album 'Built for Fighting' intertwined with stories and memories from their touring careers.  It is a show that should not be missed. DAMIAN WILSON is widely known for his contribution to the progressive rock genre, as lead singer with bands such as Threshold, Headspace and Landmarq.  He has appeared on over 70 albums and had released five solo albums.  He is a respected guest vocalist, working with Rick Wakeman's English Rock Ensemble, Mostly Autumn, Praying Mantis and others.  He played the lead role of Jean Valjean in Les Miserables on their UK National Tour.  Damian has one of the most versatile voices in music with an incredible range. ADAM WAKEMAN is most well known as the keyboard player with Black Sabbath,  2017 was Adam's fourteenth year as a member of Ozzy Osbourne's band.  He has released nine albums with his father Rick and much of his early touring was with Rick.  They played all over the world, either with the two of them sitting at grand pianos or in full scale rock appearances with orchestras and choirs.  Adam is a highly sought after keyboard player and musical director.  His career has seen him tour, write and record with some of the biggest selling artists in the recording industry.  In 2016, he accompanied Callaghan on her second visit to Town Hall Live.  He has wanted to come back ever since and we feel privileged to put on this concert.  It is sure to be a magical evening.
