The Norman Beaker Trio. Check It Out !!!!

Check Out The Norman Beaker Trio.

The Norman Beaker Trio
Three of the most legendary British Blues artistes play their own brand of esteemed originals which have made them one of the most popular bands in the UK and the Continent, including the song that's taken the blues charts of the UK and Europe by
storm, "Only I Got What the Other Guys Want" as well as the music of Buddy Guy, Howlin' Wolf, and many other masters of the genre.
The Trio are among the final links to the first Blues musicians, having worked with the greatest of the original artists from the US and the UK. The band have played the major Jazz and Blues festivals worldwide but feel just as at home in a small pub atmosphere as at the Royal Albert Hall.
Expect a musical extravaganza as well as fun and entertainment that ensure an unforgettable night!

Norman Beaker
(Guitar/Vocals/Keys/Harmonica)
Norman Beaker has been at the forefront of the British Blues scene since the late '60s, playing with Alexis Korner, Graham Bond, Jack Bruce, Eric Burdon, Paul Jones, Tony Ashton and many others. B.B. King commented, “Norman is like a white Freddie King”, a rare compliment indeed and testimony to Norman's merits as a superb frontman.
Those Norman has subsequently worked with include B.B. King, Chuck Berry, Buddy Guy, Jimmy Rogers, Lowell Fulson, Van Morrison, Fenton Robinson, Carey Bell, Jon Lord, James Booker, Ruby Turner, Robert Plant, and many others.
The Beaker Band is one of the hardest-working bands on the circuit and tour permanently with Larry Garner and of course Chris Farlowe.

New music from Manhaton for 2016

New music from Manhaton for 2016

2015 has been a very busy year for the staff at Manhaton, and we see no reason why 2016 will be any different.

Successful records from Robin Trower with "Something's About To Change" and King King with "Reaching For The Light" have made their mark with both fans and the music media.
In 2016 we will release a brand new album from the evergreen Robin Trower, titled "Where You Are Going To" and I must say the demos already sound terrific!

King King’s album “Reaching For the Light” was selected in the Top 50 Albums of the year in both Classic Rock magazine and its sister publication The Blues Magazine
King King go from strength to strength, and as a real reward for their hard work in recent years they've accepted an arena tour with 90's rock band Thunder in February - something the guys are very excited about. Alan has been a big Thunder fan for some time! This will be followed by a headline tour in May, featuring an opening set from the amazing Dan Patlansky
Later in 2016 the band will release their first live CD/DVD, which will be shot and edited in April.
King King - Reaching For The Light

Robin Trower - Something's About To Change
Stevie Nimmo - Sky Won't Fall
Both Ben Poole and our new signing Stevie Nimmo will release new albums in the early part of 2016. This will coincide with a joint mammoth co-headline tour of the UK.

"Time Has Come" will be the follow up to Ben's popular "Live At The Albert Hall" album from October 2014.

Stevie marks his first Manhaton release with "Sky Won't Fall". A fresh and varied LP, recorded with Wayne Proctor at Superfly Studios.

Hat Fitz & Cara continue to put together album number four, and will return for a few select shows in April/May to promote the new album. More news on that soon. Festivals will be added over the Summer.
Finally, we'd like to welcome New Yorker Sari Schorr to our roster of acts. Sari was introduced to Manhaton records by legendary producer Mike Vernon (Fleetwood Mac, John Mayall).
“Sari Schorr is the embodiment of the best the blues and beyond has to offer. Sari is definitely the next big blues diva that will sweep through the blues scene” Dave Fields Big City Blues New York.
New York hall of fame inductee Sari is working on a new album with Mike and her band The Engine Room, which we look forward to releasing in September. Have a look here
