His songs are lyrically rich and finely crafted.  They accentuate the narrative, they celebrate subtlety.  They are filled with nimble wordplay and cool cadences, they move with the light feet of a dancer, but in their tone and theme, they contain weight, depth and substance. Live, his guitar playing is exceptional and a voice that is distinctive and mellifluous.   Everything about the man is gentle, except for his insight is crushing. Amanda from Ottawa is an award winning singer song writer with a powerful, slightly gritty, deeply personal but instantly accessible folk/ roots sound with elements of pop, rock and soul in her songs.  She will be joined by Anders Drerup on guitar and MJ Dandeneau on bass. Support will come from York based musician Dan Webster and his band.
