Whilst the Topic office recovers from our 75th anniversary celebrations, 2015 sees our colleagues at Fledg'ling Records begin to celebrate 21 years of idiosyncratic record releasing. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Bob Copper's birth, Fledg'ling are releasing a new CD edition of the influential 1963 BOB & RON COPPER 'Traditional Songs from Rottingdean' album. The package contains Bob Copper's notes and bears a striking resemblance to the original design. This is the album that influenced so many performers from the 'Revival' both here, in the United States and in Ireland. As a member of the internationally renowned trio The Wailing Jenny’s, Ruth has performed in sold out venues across the world and made numerous critically acclaimed albums.  Last year Ruth and band were invited to open for Mark Knopfler on his European tour and played 6 shows at the Royal Albert Hall. Drew Holcomb   Friday 16th January, 2015 Nashville based musician Drew Holcomb will stop of at Kirton on his latest UK tour.  Drew and his band The Neighbors have established themselves as a formidable act.  They toured the UK in February 2014 in support of their top selling album ‘The Good Light’ which is full of earthy, heartfelt and tremendously catchy songs.  Their new CD ‘Medicine’ will be released in time for this tour and is every bit as good.
