They were due to headline in March last year, but had to cancel at the last minute due to an illness to lead singer Sam Kipling. Wilful Missing are uniquely different, their music is beautifully inventive and their song writing intelligent.  Their latest album 'Molehills out of Mountains' is carefully crafted. On album and in concert they play a host of instruments from cahon to pipes, banjo to accordion & keyboards and drums to produce a rich Americana sound, interspersed with Irish melodies and continental vibes, all underpinned with Sam's cracked vocals. They describe themselves as alternative, acoustic folk rock, but they are more than that. We welcome back The Fireside Knights as support. They last played in December, 2014 and we just had to have them back.  We look forward to hearing Rachel's crystal clear voice, Steve's dynamic lead bass and Mark's guitar and mandolin. Kyle Carey and Luke Jackson     Saturday 11th April Kyle Carey is an acclaimed singer song writer from New Hampshire, who has taken folk music traditions from America and Scotland/ Ireland and grafted them together to produce something uniquely her own. Sharing the bill with Kyle will be 20 year old Luke Jackson from Canterbury, Kent.  Luke sings with an extraordinarily rich voice and possesses an astonishing guitar technique for such a young man.  He is a captivating performer demonstrating as astonishing maturity for one so young Advance Tickets for this concert will be £12, and can be obtained from the usual outlets.  Bring Your Friends for a Great Night Out and Save on Tickets! The last ever Steamin' Blues - 13th June – On the Nene Valley Railway, Wansford

Join Colin Hodgkinson & Friends at the Nene Valley Railway for the 14th and LAST EVER Steamin' Blues.

The line-up for this year so far confirmed to include newcomer Marcus Bonfanti, the incredible and amazing lead guitarist from the band that Colin's currently playing with - Ten Years After.  Also playing will be drummer Paul Robinson whose career includes many years with Nina Simone and stints with Van Morrison and Eric Bibb.  

Old Steamin' Blues favourite Zoot Money will be back and Rod Mason (the Room Darkener!), saxophonist extraordinaire!

As ever a steam-hauled train (with an all-important bar!) will be available from the Nene Valley Railway Peterborough Station to pick you up and drop you off. The gig kicks off at 20:00 and the bar will be open. 

A food stall will be available on site. (Don't forget only food & drink purchased on the premises may be consumed - no picnics)

Topic at the London Independent Label Market On Saturday 28th March, Topic will have a stall at the Independent Label Market at Old Spitalfields Market in London, the first time this has been held in the Springtime.
