In February 2013, Songwriter and theatre maker Tom Adams bought a slide projector and 500 slides from eBay. The slides were of people he did not know but he could not help asking, what is their story? 

Tom performs a live soundtrack of music, comedy and stories to these images in a gentle exploration of mortality. He also searches through images of his own life, placing them side by side with the strangers, wondering if his memories will, one day, be just a slide sold on eBay.

Acoustic Nights are recommencing at The Turnors in Wragby on Tuesday 28th October 2014. The organisers are expecting a bumper turnout

The evening will be dedicated to the memory of Richard Langridge  who was the original founder of our Wragby Acoustic gathering. The night will run in much the same way as it always has. Some friendly banter, a few good laughs, a few drinks and some good music with some good friends.

The Wragby Acoustic Nights have been running for many years now and they hope to keep them going for many more to come. The organisers look forward to seeing you on this SPECIAL SPECIAL NIGHT and hope that you will continue to join them in the future and enable us to always keep the last Tuesday of the month, in Wragby, special.

Since their sold out concert in February Pete and Rhiannon have been very busy.  Their THL concert was quickly followed by another sell out concert at The Greystones, Sheffield.  They have played numerous festivals and supported top acts at large venues across the country. In March they went into the Studio to record their second album 'We're Getting There Aren't We'.   The CD was produced by Alan Smyth, who has previously recorded the Artic Monkeys.  The album was crowd funded and launched at The Memorial Hall, Sheffield in July.  It is a gem. On October 24th they will again bring their band, comprising of Tom Howe (guitar), Pete Howe (violin) and Robin Baker (double bass).  They will play songs from the new album and old favourites from 'Stories From A Suitcase'. At the February headliner Rita Payne took things to another level, watch them go up another notch this time. Supporting will be Luke Jackson, a 19 year old songwriter from Canterbury.  Although his roots are in folk music, Luke's guitar technique and dynamic voice suggest an emerging rock star. Support will come from Otley teenagers, The Velveteens who have been gaining quite a reputation locally. UK Tour 1 - 9 June 2015 TROLLFOLK DEBUT UK TOUR // 1 - 9 JUNE 2015 Trollfolk® is an indie world folk rock band from Joensuu, Eastern Finland. In 2010, singer Usi Riikonen fulfilled a long awaited dream to sing in her native language, Swedish. She gathered the best musicians and created Trollfolk®. A Finnish band performing Finnish indie-folk-rock with Swedish lyrics is not only a traditional contradiction, but also a musical rebellion. Conflict and musical dynamics made for enough explosive force, and off they went in Spring 2010 to unleash their sound on Finnish audiences. All members but the singer Usi Riikonen have Finnish as their native language. Most of the song’s lyrics are taken from traditional Swedish folk songs, and rearranged in Trollfolk’s own musical style. But Trollfolk® also writes and composes it's own material. Trollfolk’s roots are in North Karelian folkmusic, but rock, pop, jazz and even punk are clearly present. Their sound is fresh due to their first-class musicianship and songwriting, and their kick-ass attitude. Trollfolk® redefines Folk rock one more time. This time, it comes from Eastern Karelia, but different than expected. Trollfolk® takes the heart of Finnish Folk music and puts it into Swedish folk rock. Something truly spectacular.
